I'm fine with closing this bug if it does not exist in the 4.x series. As to testdrive, I went through the automated process back when it was part of Compaq before the merger with HP, so I don't have any contact to ask for a gcc upgrade. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=30429
