Maybe. I have tested the gfortran problem on 24 computers (all 32 bit): I get an ICE on all AMD and Pentium III processors, but gfortran is compiling correctly on the Pentium 4 and Pentium D processor machines. The funny thing is, that the P4 compiled code is running on the AMD and PIII processors very well. gfortran -v Using built-in specs.
