That's probably a duplicate of PR other/23541 then, it will be fixed in 4.1.2.

You don't need to jump through all these hoops to build the 64-bit compiler,
a single step is sufficient since the Sun compiler can generate 64-bit code,
see http://gcc.gnu.org/install/specific.html#sparc64-x-solaris2
