You're seeing failures of default_format_1.f90 on i686-darwin (IIRC, that's what you've got these days)? That's not supposed to happen, I thought it'd be only on powerpc-darwin (which I have xfail'ed)! Could you compile it and run it under gdb, and see where it aborts?
