After workarounding the crtstuff.c misscompilation as described in http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2007-10/msg00743.html, bootstrap with BOOT_CFLAGS="-O2 -ftree-vectorize -maltivec" passes for me on ppc64-linux.
