I agree with Andrew, it looks like Eric's patch moved the restoring of the altivec registers to before the frame pointer code. The attached (non bootstrapped or regtested) fixes the problem for me. Does this look ok to everyone? -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=35907
