I added the fix to the latest gcc-4.3 snapshot and bootstrapped it. I then tested both the original application that failed (Erlang) as well as the latest Linux kernel. Both built and worked fine. Thank you for fixing this so quickly. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=36339
