My plan for working on this is to look at the first part of the problem for now (the lost parentheses, this is a general ELEMENTAL problem, as my (invalid) test from comment #7 also fails for adding parentheses around the first argument). I hope this can be fixed quite straight forward if I find the problem. After this, we can look at the MVBITS specific part.
