Isn't that the opposite of what it should be? The web interface is public, visible by spammers and email address harvesters, whereas the email only goes to gcc-bugs@gcc.gnu.org or private individuals. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=41206
