I don't really think I can argue that this is stage3 material, so the plan is to fix it when trunk reopens for 4.6, and I have Richard G's agreement-in-principle to then backport it from head to the 4.5 branch for 4.5.1 -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=42776
