Tobias correctly points out various cases that are still not correct. It looks to me as if his proposal of only allowing PURE is the "correct" way to go. "correct" == "not so mind boggling as to render implementation impossible". Paul -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=44582
