The runtime for induct compiled with -fprotect-parens -Ofast went down from 14.11s to 13.14s, and compiled with -Ofast from 14.62s to 13.32s (still ~1% slower). The timings for the other tests in the polyhedron suite were basically unchanged (i.e., within the noise margin). Thanks for the patch.
