Make sure you have installed the latest Xcode, the matching Command Line Tools from within the Preferences panel of the Xcode application and then have executed... sudo xcode-select --switch /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer You are likely using some pre-Mountain Lion of the CLI in the deprecated /Developer directory.
