It looks like the call to cselib_preserve_cfa_base_value in vt_initialize should be guarded by some conditions, like this: if (reg != hard_frame_pointer_rtx && fixed_regs[REGNO (reg)]) cselib_preserve_cfa_base_value (val, REGNO (reg)); This fixes the reported problem for me (though I haven't otherwise regtested it).
