I don't think patches that fix the mismatch will be rejected, but also don't expect someone else to care enough to write them and submit them. On the other hand, it would be handy to keep this around as a reminder to add this to the list of non-bugs for future reference: https://gcc.gnu.org/bugs/#nonbugs And also in case someone is actually interested in adding this warning (perhaps it could be enabled by -fms-extensions).
