Bug ID: 63279 Summary: Processes hang inside Linux Kernel built with gcc5 Product: gcc Version: 5.0 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P3 Component: c Assignee: unassigned at gcc dot gnu.org Reporter: sasha.levin at oracle dot com After building and booting a Linux Kernel built with gcc5, several processes would hang and consume 100% CPU, while other work just fine. For example, /bin/dash would work great but /bin/bash just hangs indefinitely. This issue was easy enough to bisect, and the offending commit is: https://gcc.gnu.org/viewcvs/gcc?view=revision&revision=213753 Thanks, Sasha
