Generic ELF support provides the necessary #defines to avoid this problem. I've been unable to configure gcc-4.5 for the openbsd-4.5 in the manner suggested by Rob: *** Configuration x86_64-unknown-openbsd4.5 not supported My best guess is there was some local configury bits in Rob's build.
