--- Comment #15 from James Ballantine <j.ballantine at gmail dot com> --- That is in the lib dir that is a peer of the bin dir., i.e. both directly under /usr/local/src/add-on/R-3.2.2, but then the bin/exec/R is normally run from a shell script that is bin/R, so that could be a issue because I ran ldd on the executable rather than from within the script
