I agree.

I think we can ignore this for now.  It's about loading/sharing constants. 
There are more constant related inefficiencies which can be addressed later.

Hm .. those don't fail on sh-elf ... maybe something related to the atomics? 
Atomics are off by default for sh-elf, but on for sh-linux.
