It would be nice if there was a standard API for expressing the pattern. This
could be both tuned for particular target in std. library and
recognized/optimized by compiler. FreeBSD seems to have memcchr
(https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=memcchr) so I've risked filing
request at Glibc folks (https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21018).
