I also found that release notes for gcc 4.5
(https://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-4.5/changes.html) says that it is supported on
IA-32/x86-64:
"A new -mmovbe option is now available to enable GCC to use the movbe
instruction to implement __builtin_bswap32 and __builtin_bswap64.". Now this
issue looks like a regression for me.
