Diez <rdiezmail-gcc at yahoo dot de> --- I am upgrading my embedded ARM Cortex-M4 toolchain from GCC 6.4 to GCC 7.3, and Binutils from 2.29.1 to 2.30 (among other minor component upgrades), and I am not seeing this warning anymore. I do not know what fixed it yet, or whether the warning is now just silenced by default.
