Law <law at redhat dot com> --- FWIW, there's another similar bug where DOM doesn't do a particularly good job at tracking the state of objects implied the results of logical operations which in turn causes missed optimizations. I've poked at it a few times but haven't come up with anything good to address the deficiency. It's on the Wuninitialized tracker, so I'll certainly take a look over the coming months.
