How am I supposed to know to look for that and know that it's meant to cover this contrary to its doc? (I don't read every word in docs when quickly debunking bad PR for the compiler, but I do read release notes.) Anyhow, it doesn't affect the result, so there's at least one behaviour and two (including release notes) documentation bugs if it's meant to. I'd have thought NPB would provide useful performance regression testing anyhow.
