Thank you The Written Word. However I still get an ICE failure with selftests as before, although at a different place. I notice you said that you are bootstrapping with 4.9.4 and I am with 4.7.4. I will try to get 4.9.4 bootstrapped with 4.7.4 and see if that makes any difference. I will also try troubleshooting suggested by Dave. Thanks!
