Bug ID: 95243 Summary: libgomp documentation should specify GCC Runtime Library Exception license as applicable Product: gcc Version: 10.1.0 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: libgomp Assignee: unassigned at gcc dot gnu.org Reporter: brentd42 at hotmail dot com CC: jakub at gcc dot gnu.org Target Milestone: --- >From an inspection of the code base, it appears that libgomp uses the GPL v3 license with the GCC Runtime Library exception. However, the libgomp documentation page (https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-10.1.0/libgomp/Copying.html#Copying) lists only GPL v3 and not the exception. Conversely, libstc++ specifies the GCC Runtime Library exception license (https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-10.1.0/libstdc++/manual/manual/license.html#manual.intro.status.license.gpl) as expected. Similarly to libstc++, could the libgomp documentation be updated to specify the GCC Runtime Library exception license as applicable?
