I can confirm that removing the bootstrap=true from the two lines in
Makefile.def suggested by Jeff in comment #18, does fix the libgo build for me.
But unfortunately, I can't get "d" to build (with these changes) due to "import
gcc.config" in libphobos/libdruntime/core/internal/atomic.d being unable to
read module 'config' during stage2.
