Confirmed with a revert too (as in just before that commit, as it doesn't
revert cleanly on trunk and I didn't try massage it).
I'm very surprised by this as I was under the impression the prange stuff was
an initial stub (new class of range) rather than with anything especially wired
with it yet -- I must have misread something.
