With respect for bounds checking, you would already get a warning if max is
outside of an array. So I assume you are interested in the other aspects of the
attribute, which would get without by annotating src without specifying a
length, but this does not work because of the src == max case.
Also if this were supported we might detect cases where max and src do not
point into the same array.
So confirmed.
