Confirmed (it's not loads). Likely would also happen with BIT_FIELD_REFs from
non-vector objects (not sure how to easily build those).
As enhancement arbitrary permutes could be handled on the vector source side
by code generating as VEC_PERM + VIEW_CONVERT.
