As far as I can tell, this issue was fixed in 2007 by adding separate
-fassociative-math and -freciprocal-math options, along with the previously
existing -fno-signed-zeros and -ftrapping-math flags. I think it's been
hanging around for years because it was marked as a documentation issue rather
than a request for more specific command-line options. The current docs look
OK to me, so I'm closing the issue now.
