Note it was r15-1735-ge62ea4fb8ffcab which fixed it for x86_64 (in a similar
fashion as aarch64 with r15-1579-g792f97b44ffc5e which added late combine).
I am not sure why arm still fails though; powerpc still has late combine
disabled (PR 115612) which is the most likely reason why it still fails there.
