FYI With -Og -Winfinite-recursion there is neither an ICE nor a
compile-time-hog for gcc trunk and gcc 15.2.1.
-O0, -O1, -O2, -O3, -Os are compile-time-hogs.
I am reducing very slowly since 22 hours and have trimmed off a third...
