--- Comment #1 from Gabriel Ravier <gabravier at gmail dot com> --- P.S.: the original single-use guard before r17-3355-ga6173e867de7f9 only applied for vectors (VECTOR_TYPE_P) - presumably this should also be done for a new single-use condition if the rationale for it still applies (are scalar narrows considered basically free or? don't know the precise rationale)
