            Bug ID: 128393
           Summary: g++.dg/gomp/deprecated-1.C result depends on terminal
                    width
           Product: gcc
           Version: 17.0
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: diagnostics
          Assignee: dmalcolm at redhat dot com
          Reporter: aoliva at gcc dot gnu.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Run ```make -C gcc check-g++ RUNTESTFLAGS=gomp.exp=deprecate-1.C``` on an
80-column terminal, and it will fail the last multiline match.

Run it on a 90-column terminal, and it will pass.

The problem is that the caret-printing discards the beginning of the line so
that the caret appears on the first subsequent line.

There doesn't seem to be a way to disable this behavior.

-fmessage-length=0, used in the testsuite, probably should, but it doesn't stop
the caret machinery from initializing based on the terminal width.
