(Since you mention it...) Oddly, it doesn't; you have to pass --with-float=hard too for --target=arm-none-linux-gnueabihf to actually default to "hf". IMHO this should obviously change but maybe it's too late? And, supposedly all packagers know this wart by now and new ones re-discover it soon enough... brgds, H-P
