I'm pretty sure the OpenBSD guys have moved to dwarf2 by default at some point. Certainly appears that way looking at my OpenBSD 6.2 VM.
In the case of LynxOS, I haven't used it in about 25 years. I have no clue if they've moved away from stabs yet. However, I don't think we should let that stand in the way of moving towards deprecation. My biggest worry WRT deprecation of stabs is AIX. jeff
