Thats an existing thing to help indicate 'be' versus 'le'. altivec-7-be.c:/* { dg-do compile { target powerpc64-*-* } } */ altivec-7-le.c:/* { dg-do compile { target powerpc64le-*-* } } */ but yeah, we are potentially missing coverage for -m32.
