I've dug up the history of what was reviewed before, so perhaps we can avoid repeating what has been previously been discussed. https://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2017-09/msg00582.html All sources in this patch are mainlined on github, and we are just a downstream user. The FSF has said that there's no problem including these in gcc as they are. Iain.
