I've posted a patch in https://gcc.gnu.org/pipermail/gcc-patches/2022-November/606478.html to change the rs6000 target and there is a discussion ongoing. If we draw a conclusion that we only want to make changes in the backend, I will install this one. -- Regards, Hongyu, Wang
