Hi all, Since Knight Landing and Knight Mill microarchitectures were EOL in 2019 and previously ICC and ICX has removed the support and emitted errors, we would also like to remove the support in GCC to reduce maintainence effort. The deprecated Xeon Phi ISAs are AVX512PF, AVX512ER, AVX5124VNNIW, AVX5124FMAPS, PREFETCHWT1.
Our plan is to first emit a warning in GCC 14 to indicate that we will remove them in GCC 15. And in GCC 15, we will remove the support if there is no objection. The patch following is the GCC 14 patch which mark them as deprecated. Regtested on x86_64-pc-linux-gnu. Ok for trunk? Thx, Haochen
