Agreed.  Note that patches need a specially formatted ChangeLog as
part of the commit message,
like for example

libgcc/
            * libgcov-util.c (tag_counters): Swap xcalloc arguments.
            (topn_to_memory_representation): Likewise.

with tabs to indent.
