I've checked the one with external EH and that works fine, otherwise
it would have never worked for anything.
With internal EH I think it will not work, the EH edges will prevent it,
but sure, we should double-check that.
BTW, all those errno etc. discussions I think do not apply to the
replaceable new/delete when used from new/delete expressions, because
the standard explicitly says those calls can be omitted.
