Quite likely. But given consumer support doesn't seem to be on the way
for any reasonable time horizon, that may not be that big of a problem.

Probably a good idea. When I looked at the -fcompare-debug issues in BZ
a year or so ago the vast majority where related to these options. ISTM
we could just extract those for the testsuite.
