It is a shared file and my interpretation of the text as written is that approval can come from any side. There is no master copy specified and I fail to see why the maintainers of any of the three projects would show such a distrust of the other parties (and, for that matter, why a GCC maintainer would be required to ack a change that affects GAS or LD only; it's clearly outside the scope of GCC). Therefore I'm going to wait my usual 48 working day hours for anyone to chime in and otherwise push the change to both repositories. Maciej
