Lots of constraints there that might not be suitable for all machines. Unless it's expected to pass (almost) everywhere, it should move to gcc.target/i386. If it *is* expected to pass everywhere, at least add /* { dg-require-effective-target fpic } */ or similar (can be done in the target expression). brgds, H-P
