Does it list -xarch=v8pluse/-xarch=v9e as equivalent to -m32/64 -xarch=sparc4? If so, I don't think that we need to change our scheme, using 'e' instead of 'd' for SPARC4 instructions should work just fine with both GNU and Sun as. -- Eric Botcazou
