My initial thoughts were that whether or not a function is a simd clone can be accessed through the cgraph bits ("node->simdclone != NULL" for the clone, and "node->has_simd_clones" for the parent). No sense keeping the attribute. But I can leave it if you think it's better.Why have it in the first place if it's marked in the cgraph?
It would be placed there by the front-end when parsing Cilk Plus simd-enabled functions. It's only in the the omp stage that we transfer that information to the cgraph bits.
