Never mind, I found a 4.9.1 installation on gcc110 and the answer seems to be "yes", but still investigating; I disabled Ada. It might be useful to run a modified config-list.mk using that version. BTW, I found the answer to be "no" for 4.8.1 as per gcc111 due to a common warning on a concat call. brgds, H-P
