Earlier today, Andrew Haley posted a small C++ snippet showing an ABI change affecting gcj on PPC32: http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2005-04/msg00139.html I hope he'll open a PR soon, but you probably want to consider this for 4.0. Giovanni Bajo
